I got my BA in Foreign Language Education at Boğaziçi University. I got my MA in Linguistics from Syracuse Unviversity. I am currently a Linguistics PhD student at Rutgers University.

I am currently continuing my PhD in linguistics at Rutgers University working mainly with Adam McCollum. My research interests are Phonology of Turkic languages and interface. I am currently working on exceptional stress placement in Modern Standard Turkish.

I received my MA in Linguistics at Syracuse University with double concentration in Theoretical Linguistics and Natural Language Processing. I particularly worked on liquid phonology and morphophonological irregularities in Modern Standard Turkish.

I taught the recitation sections of an introductory linguistics course, LIN - 201 Nature and Study of Language with my mentor teachers Christopher Green and Kenji Oda. The course included topics from sociological, political, theoretical and applied linguistics.

K12 Education | 2019 - 2020
I completed my mandadory MEB internship at ISTEK Atanur Oğuz in Balmumcu, Istanbul. I taught English to 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 10th graders. I worked with several mentor teachers to evaluate and assess students' performance and observed classes from elementary to high school level. I taught several grammar lessons at the high school level.
